Marvel Rivals Release Date: December 6!

The wait for a release date is finally over: Marvel Rivals comes to PC, PlayStation and XBox on December 6!

The game will be fully free to play, with all heroes at launch and beyond unlocked for all players. While we don't know much about the full monetization plans for Marvel Rivals, the developers have stated on multiple occasions that paid aspects will be cosmetic only.

Joining the roster at launch will be the ever-heroic vanguard Captain America with the unique ability to deflect projectiles — including ultimates! — alongside one of HYDRA's most dangerous assets, the vicious duelist Bucky Barnes also known as the Winter Soldier.

Whether any additional characters such as Psylocke or Moon Knight will be revealed before launch is unknown. There are no plans for any further beta tests before launch, though the community is hopeful for some kind of stress test pre-release.
