Hulk is a vanguard in Marvel Rivals, designed to act as a durable frontline disruptor who excels at soaking damage, controlling enemies, and diving into the backline to cause chaos. His unique ability to transform between Bruce Banner, Hero Hulk, and Monster Hulk gives him unmatched survivability and versatility. Hulk's primary role is to initiate fights, absorb enemy focus, and create openings for his team by locking down key targets with abilities like Radioactive Lockdown and Incredible Leap.

Hulk thrives in dive compositions where he can work with mobile duelists like Black Panther or Spider-Man to quickly eliminate priority targets. His transformations allow him to adapt to the flow of battle: Hero Hulk provides durability and utility, while Monster Hulk offers immense damage and crowd control. However, Hulk's reliance on close-range combat makes him vulnerable to kiting from ranged heroes like Hawkeye or Storm, requiring careful timing and coordination with his team.

How to play Hulk in Marvel Rivals

Start fights by using Incredible Leap to dive into the enemy backline, targeting squishy strategists or duelists who are out of position. Upon landing, follow up with Radioactive Lockdown to immobilize a nearby pesky strategist to prevent healing and setting up KOs for your team. Use Indestructible Guard when surrounded by enemies or under heavy fire to shield yourself and nearby allies while building energy for your ultimate.

Positioning is key for Hulk due to his lack of ranged attacks. Stay close to your team's healers or strategists so they can keep you alive while you disrupt the enemy formation. Use Incredible Leap not only for engaging but also as an escape tool when overwhelmed—charge it immediately after landing so you're always ready to reposition or dodge incoming abilities. Additionally, leverage high ground whenever possible; jumping down onto enemies from elevated positions allows you to maximize your impact while minimizing exposure.

If you drop into Bruce Banner form after being defeated as Hulk, focus on retreating while using his pistol attack to recharge gamma energy for a quick return to Hero Hulk Avoid engaging enemies directly in this form unless absolutely necessary, as Banner is much weaker than his transformed states.
