New Free Rewards, Costume Coin, and S0 Battlepass Rerun

Marvel Rivals was first generally playable almost a year ago with its Closed Alpha Test, limited to a very select few who had the chance to score the rarest costume in the game: Scarlet Witch's White Witch costume. To celebrate a year on, Marvel Rivals will be dropping a Galacta's Gift event starting May 15, which'll let you earn some very cool free rewards.

Perhaps the coolest reward will be an exclusive Costume Coin, which can be redeemed to unlock any of the debut costumes that launched with the game — this includes popular costumes such as Luna Snow's Shining Star, Psylocke's Vengeance, and Moon Knight's Mister Knight costumes.

Between May 15 and May 29, the original Season 0 Battlepass will be returning for a limited time at the cost of 590 to allow newer players the chance to snag this battlepass which had previously only ran for a very short time at the launch of Marvel Rivals. All rewards in the returning version of this pass require the battlepass to be paid to unlock.

The developers state that, if future battlepasses are rerun like this, they would be not be until at least two seasons past the original release and would be at least 20% more expensive to pick up — so it makes sense to grab them as they release if possible.
