Rocket Raccoon is a strategist in Marvel Rivals, specializing in healing, utility, and mobility. His primary role is to support his team by keeping them alive with healing spheres, reviving fallen allies with his B.R.B. ability, and providing buffs like damage amplification through his C.Y.A. ultimate. Rocket's high mobility, including Jetpack Dash and wall-climbing capabilities, allows him to reposition quickly, scout for his team, or escape dangerous situations. While his damage output is moderate, his value lies in his ability to sustain and empower his teammates during fights.

Rocket thrives in team compositions with durable vanguards like Groot or Hulk, who can protect him while he heals from the backline. However, Rocket's low health makes him vulnerable to burst damage from heroes like Psylocke or Spider-Man, requiring careful positioning and map awareness to stay effective.

How to play Rocket Raccoon in Marvel Rivals

Rocket's mobility tools are key to his survivability and utility. Use Jetpack Dash to quickly reposition during fights or escape when enemies close in on you. Combine this with wall-climbing and hovering mechanics to access high ground or hard-to-reach areas where you can safely support your team.

When deploying the B.R.B., place it in a safe location where it won't be easily destroyed but is still within range of fallen teammates who need reviving. Ensure you're not exposing yourself unnecessarily while placing it.

Rocket's ultimate ability, C.Y.A., is best used during pivotal moments in team fights or when contesting objectives. Position it where multiple allies can benefit from the damage boost while staying protected from enemy fire. Alternatively, use it as a distraction; enemies may focus on destroying the amplifier, giving your team an opportunity to capitalize on their split attention.

Rocket Raccoon Lore in Marvel Rivals

After Quill went and crashed the Milano — because he wasn’t paying attention to what Rocket was telling him, naturally — Rocket had noted that they were in the middle of what looked like a huge ship graveyard. Great, he thought. Let me go find parts, get the Milano patched up, and we’ll be out of there in no time. So that’s what he was doing, only most of the ships were so old that they didn’t have anything useful for the Milano. He’d marked a few that might be worth closer attention, but mostly Rocket was not finding what he needed in this massive junkyard. "Figures," he said to nobody in particular. "Looks like I’m gonna have to engineer something tricky." There was movement among the hulks of ships off to his left. Rocket watched, but he didn’t see anything else. This Klyntar place had a strange vibe: Big spaceship boneyard, big monumental spooky ruins, all of it surrounded by a jungle made of the weirdest plants Rocket had seen on any planet. No visible sentient life, but all the same he felt like he was being watched. Also, there was a huge fire burning at one end of the boneyard, not too far from where Quill had crashed the Milano. Rocket considered checking ba...Read Rocket Raccoon's full Marvel Rivals lore
