Rocket may not look like a tech genius or an expert tactician, but anyone who's ever made his hit list has quickly regretted underestimating him. This savvy space soldier is equally eager to boost his teammates and to collect bounties on his foes.

Groot The Punisher Winter Soldier

Bombard Mode

Fire energy projectiles which deal damage.

Repair Mode

Shoot bouncing spheres which heal allies.

Wild Crawl

Hold Jump to run on walls or to fall slowly while in the air.

Jetpack Dash

Dash forward.

B.R.B.

Deploy a Battle Rebirth Beacon which instantly revives the next fallen ally and periodically produces collectible armor packs and rocket jet packs.

The BRB has a very limited range within which the revival triggers, so there's a delicate balance between keeping it as close to the action (payload/capture point) as possible while still keeping it out of enemy sightlines.

C.Y.A.

Deploy a Cosmic Yarn Amplifier which grants allies within its radius a damage boost.

This can be paired well with other amplification effects, such as Infinite Ammo or Magik's Darkchild form. It is also a very powerful method to help Winter Soldier guarantee multiple Kraken resets for a team wipe.

Team-up: Old Friends

Rocket can ride on Groot's shoulders, reducing incoming damage.

Team-up: Ammo Invention

Rocket throws an Ammo Overload device in the target direction. While within the device's range, Punisher and Winter Soldier fire faster with infinite ammo.

So that’s what he was doing, only most of the ships were so old that they didn’t have anything useful for the Milano. He’d marked a few that might be worth closer attention, but mostly Rocket was not finding what he needed in this massive junkyard.

"Figures," he said to nobody in particular. "Looks like I’m gonna have to engineer something tricky."
